Tree Search is the form of advanced search which is invoked from right-clicking on the tree view, found on in the left frame within TeamHeadquarters.
This technique is one of the fasted ways to target a search, especially over time as your TeamHeadquarters database becomes more heavily populated with data.
When you select Search from a right-click pop-up menu, the Advanced Search dialogue appears.
The resultant search will be constrained to the area of the database including and below the object from which the search was invoked.
The database will be searched for an exact match on the text you enter. Wildcard searches can be done by placing double quotes around your text and using a * at the end of the word (e.g. "print*" will bring back results for print, printer, printing, print-ready, etc.).
The keywords AND, OR, and NEAR can be used.
AND refines the search results by looking for the presence of the words before and after AND.
OR expands the search results by looking for either of the words before and after the OR.
NEAR behaves like AND, but further refines the search results by only returning results where the search words are close together in the same document.
