Tickets,
Tasks, and Time Sheets
Time Sheets are
based on a seven-day period beginning on the Sunday of the week selected.
Time can
be charged to:
Non-Closed
Tasks from Active
Projects that you are assigned to work on.
Projects
which list you on their roster as Active.
Tasks which
are 'related' to a ticket which you have edited during the
week.
Charge buckets, typically for vacation and absenteeism, which are set up as generic charge codes within your system.
Time Sheets can be closed, or
submitted,
to show completeness and prevent further editing. Once
closed, they can be moved via drag-and-drop to
time sheet
archives for long term storage.
To re-open, the time sheet must be moved back from the
time sheet archives to the
My
Time Sheets folder. Note:
The option to Re-Open your time sheet may be restricted to TeamHeadquarters
Administrators, depending on your installation.
Time Sheets can be automatically populated with time that was recorded in tickets, because:
Tickets can
be related to
tasks.
Tickets automatically
track the time that they spend open in edit mode prior to being saved.
Ticket time
is marked as either billable or non-billable.
This feature can be invoked by clicking the
button at
the top of the time sheet. The
time from tickets is then rolled up to the related tasks for the appropriate
day(s) and billing option. Rounding
can be invoked to the next highest increment of 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
