The
News folder
can appear in different places within TeamHeadquarters:
The
Project
News folder holds
all the news that has been published for the project. This folder offers
you an at-a-glance view of all the news that has been added for this project.
Users can
publish
News
items under this folder.
More
News folders can be created as sub-folders
underneath a project's
News folder. Users
can publish
News
items under this folder.
Each
personal
workspace includes a
My
News folder, which shows news
News
items published from project news folders.
The
My News folder
shows news items from projects where:
You are a member of the project roster, and
The TeamHeadquarters server
clock falls between the Effective Date
- Effective Until date/time range for that
News item.
Name - Name of the News item.
Effective Date
- The date/time when the news item well be published to the
My News folder for
every member of the project team.
Effective until
Date - The date/time when the news item well be removed from
My News lists.
URL - Link to relevant information.
Comments - News content.
Right-click on the project's
News folder.
Select B.
Provide a name for the news.
Modify the start and end dates as needed. By default, the news item will be effective from the time published for a period of 1 week.
Enter or paste the news content in the Comments box.
Enter or paste in a URL (optional).
Click the Save button.
Right-click on the
News item you wish
to edit.
Select Edit.
Edit the name, comments, and/or URL as needed.
Click the Save button.
News folders
can be created underneath other project
News
folders. They
cannot be created underneath a
My
News folder.
Right click on a project
News folder and
select New News Folder from the
pop-up menu..
Name the folder and provide comments if required.
Click Save.
Place your mouse over the
icon for a
news item.
Holding down your left mouse button, drag and drop the news under the folder of choice.
Release your mouse button when the target folder has been identified.
