My Tickets

 

The My Tickets folder contains the open, current tickets for which you are responsible.  You can choose which tickets to display by selecting one of the four filtering options at the top of the page.  Open lists all of your open tickets.  Due tickets are open and past their Next Action Date.  Overdue tickets are open and past their Due Date or Expected Completion Date.  Next Action Date within X days allows you to see which open tickets will be coming due in the next ‘x’ days.  Note that the header for the currently active filter option is highlighted as shown above where the ‘Next Action Date within 0 days’ filtered list is being viewed.  Also note that when a ticket has been edited or deferred, it is highlighted in yellow until the next time your list is refreshed. The My Tickets folder can be very dynamic because tickets leave the folder list once assigned to someone else or closed.   

Your My Tickets folder is intended to be as short as one or two days worth of work. When a ticket cannot be reasonably addressed today or tomorrow, it is worth deferring by using the "right-click-defer" option or editing the ticket and changing the "Next Action Date".

Customizing the columns

The columns shown in the list can be customized by right-clicking on the column headers and selecting or un-selecting columns

 

Automatic Refresh

The drop-down selection box at the top right of the Queue listing can be set to automatically refresh your list from the server on selected intervals if the list is left unchanged.

 

Just Mine

When checked, this control filters the list to show only those tickets for which the current user is listed as Primary in the Ticket Roster.
