The
My Projects
folder contains Projects you have created in your
personal workspace, along with shortcuts to other Active Projects you have been invited
to work on. In
addition, you will see Projects with a state of Due
Diligence or Planning if
you are the Project Manager.
There are two types of projects:
All projects that live under your
My
Projects folder are personal projects and are
not included in enterprise reports. You
can use drag and drop to move a project that has been created under your
personal
My Projects
folder to an Organizational Unit as indicated below.
Corporate projects live in the
Projects folder
under an
organizational unit . These
projects are included in enterprise
project portfolio reports.
There are three types of project icons
Standard
Project Icon - Indicates that the project lives in this location.
Closed
Project Icon - Indicates that the project is marked closed.
Shortcut
Icon - Indicates that the project lives in another location.
Expand the target
organizational unit folder by clicking on the plus sign in the left side tree view.
Right click on the
Projects folder and
select New Project.
Name the project and fill in the other fields where required.
Click Save.
A message will appear indicating that your project has been created.
Click Yes to invite yourself and/or others to the project using the Invite/Manage Members dialogue.
Add yourself to the roster
with a defined role. Note:
this will place a link to the project in your
My
Projects folder represented by a project shortcut
icon.
Right click on your
My Projects folder
and select New Project.
Name the project, fill in the other fields where required.
Click Save.
A message will appear indicating that your project has been created.
Click Yes to invite yourself and/or others to the project using the Invite/Manage Members dialogue.
Add yourself to the roster
with a defined role. Note:
The project will appear in your
My Projects folder with an
open project icon.
Left-click on the
icon
for the project you wish to move.
Hold the left mouse button
while dragging the project to the destination
project folder.
During
the move your mouse cursor will change to a box with
a plus sign.
When you have dragged the project to its new location, release the mouse button.
