Ongoing management of the solution involves:
Active Directory maintenance for new or changing users, or for any organizational changes that need to be reflected in the TeamHeadquarters database as well. In many cases, Active Directory is a common utility used by other software applications (such as Microsoft Exchange), so there is no additional overhead for TeamHeadquarters user administration.
Server hardware and operating system maintenance, as required for any 'production' server platform. This includes monitoring resource consumption to ensure that the usage has not outgrown the capacity of the platform.
Management of the backup/restore process and output.
Application of service packs, hot fixes, and software upgrades on the server and clients.
Implementing Entry Software-recommended server optimizations.
Ensuring technical support needs are met. Typically, this involves providing first line technical support for TeamHeadquarters and acting as a communications point for follow-up with Entry Software.
