How to use TeamHeadquarters

TeamHeadquarters is built with a 'hierarchical' database and user interface.  The software works a lot like Windows Explorer, with the left side frame showing a hierarchical tree view of the database, and the right side frame showing the contents of the currently selected folder or object.

For an introduction to the software's user interface and common functions, review the help topic called Things you should know.

If you are planning an implementation, one of the key deliverables will be the development of a TeamHeadquarters Usage Policy and/or Adoption Plan.  These approaches help to ensure a fluid roll out with appropriate training and support.  Determine your company's overall approach to using the software, considering your current practices, their successes and shortcomings, consultations with your Entry Software Account Representative, and the principles discussed in this site such as Getting Results with TeamHeadquarters and  How different organizations use TeamHeadquarters.

If TeamHeadquarters has already been implemented, ensure you have access to any specialized training, Usage Policy, or Adoption Plan.  Beyond learning the mechanics of using the software, these standards are an important part of your training.

If you are targeting a specific area of the software in your learning, there are a variety of ways you can find information in the Help content:

If you want to step through a comprehensive set of learning resources, then we recommend going through this training content in its entirety, followed by a page by page review of the software's Help system.
